With the latest 2.6.24 (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gc-linux/linux-2.6.24-gc.patch.gz) release we have added support for the USB Gecko (http://www.usbgecko.com/faq.htm) adapter as a console and terminal, so you can now logon into your gc-linux distro using minicom or HyperTerminal (TM).
And last but not least, we have finally run natively Linux on the Nintendo Wii through Team Tweezers' twilight-hack (http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Twilight_Hack).
We have released a small usbgecko-enabled Proof of Concept (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gc-linux/wii-linux-PoC-0.1.tgz)
mini-distro to prove it. Did I say have fun? :)

He's ported SNES9X GX v1.43 to run it native Wii mode.

this emulator runs in pure 100% Nintendo Wii mode.

ELF on SD easy !!!!!

Writes a specified ELF file to an SD card for use with the Twilight Hack.

Usage:
writeelf : [-b]
driveletter = drive letter of the sd card reader
elffile = path to elf file you wish to write to the sd card
-b = backup existing data from the write location

If elffile is "-", it will not write anything to the SD card, and will automatically turn on backup mode.

Example:

To only write an ELF file to the drive:
writeelf j: demo.elf

To only backup data from the drive:
writeelf j: -
writeelf j: - -b

To backup data from the drive and then write a new ELF file:
writeelf j: demo.elf -b


This should not be able to write to a fixed drive, but don't try it anyway!

This will (by design) corrupt any file occupying the 16384 sectors starting
with sector 2048, so just don't leave anything important on the card.

Christian Auby aka DesktopMan has managed to port Tetris to the Wii. The game can be loaded using the Twilight Hack.

Twilight Hack Loads DOL !!

2008.02.13 Pong in Wii mode

With a modified Twilight Princess Loader,
Pong can be loaded (in demo version) from SD Gecko or USB Gecko.

This is the first ELF file loaded from a SD Card into the GameCube memory card slot, and this is AWESOME
because means that homebrew can be loaded with the Twlight Hack.

It's just my old Pong demo written for GameCube a long time ago.
Controls doesn't work yet, and there are more to fix before a release, but at least things are moving forward.

Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess exploit (WIP Loader)
for the USA (RVL-RZDE-0A-2) version of the game.

Nothing has changed in this version
other then the fact it's now compatible with the above game.

This exploit does not work with every version of Zelda:TP.
Easy way to check your version is to compare the text string
which is on the inner cycle of the data surface with the ones below.

• RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA - requires a different version of the exploit (this one :P )
